Details

Premium hardware built to permanently secure your THUNDER GRIP™ Rubber Stair Treads on wooden stairs. Each kit includes 50 black fixing screws and 50 bonded rubber and aluminum washers, enough for a full set of Rubber Stair Treads with multiple fixing points per step.

The 25mm screws have a black corrosion-resistant finish and a countersunk Phillips head that sits flush once driven. The 16mm bonded washers spread pressure across the tread surface for a clean, secure fixing point.

On outdoor wooden stairs, secure every tread. Loose treads can shift on wet, snowy or icy steps. All the screws and washers in one bag. Drill not included.

What’s Included

What's Included

  • 50 Black Fixing Screws, 25mm
  • 50 Bonded Rubber and Aluminum Washers, 16mm Diameter
HOW TO USE

How To Use

  1. Place the THUNDER GRIP™ Rubber Stair Tread flat on the clean, dry step, with the front lip tight against the step edge.
  2. Place a washer over the chosen fixing point on the tread.
  3. Drive the screw through the washer and tread into the wooden stair until the washer sits flush.

Apply moderate torque only, do not over-tighten. For hardwood stairs, pre-drill a 3mm pilot hole first. The installer is responsible for confirming surface suitability and that the stair stock is deep enough for a 25mm screw.
