All-Weather Grip
Engineered to help improve traction through changing outdoor conditions, including rain and wet weather. Remove accumulated snow, ice, mud, leaves, and debris before use.
Easy Installation
Clean, lay, fasten every tread.
- Clean the step and install in dry weather. It must be dry and free of dust, oil, snow and ice.
- Place the tread flat with the front lip tight against the step edge.
- Outdoor stairs: secure every tread. Wood: exterior screws with washers (Thunder Grip Fixing Kit). Concrete: exterior-grade adhesive.
- If a tread moves, curls or lifts, remove or secure it before anyone uses the stairs.

How do I install Thunder Grip treads?
Clean the step and install in dry weather. Place each tread flat with the front lip tight against the step edge. On outdoor stairs, secure every tread: exterior screws with washers on wood (our Fixing Kit has all the screws and washers in one bag), exterior-grade adhesive on concrete.
Will these work in winter?
The rubber is made for year-round outdoor use. Treads do not melt or prevent ice. Clear snow with a plastic shovel, use a deicer suited to your surface and safe for rubber, and check under the edges after freeze-thaw.
What sizes are available?
